India welcomes foreign film makers
India welcomes foreign film makers to shoot their films in India. The reason behind this decision of the Indian ministry is the growth of the rise of the number of Hollywood films shot here has increased by 42% between the years 2010 and 2011. To be exact, 19 Hollywood films were pictured in India in 2010 and 27 in 2011. The tropical climate and the natural greenery could be a reason for it, say the experts
The India Pavilion at the Cannes showed that India is the best choice of the global movie makers with the high interest in its local beauty says Mr. Uday Kumar Varma, Secretary of I & B. Another positive thing for the film producers is that by shooting films in India they will automatically get more number of viewers for their films as the number of youngsters watching films are above 850 million. This is only the number of youngsters and you can imagine the number of tickets sold in India for family, children and elder people. This will help the movie makers to fill their pocket and at least get their investment return just from the Indian market.
India being the land of artists from ancient time offers innumerable artists not only to act but also in the other sections including technical. The educated technicians either art wise or electronically can help the movie makers to complete the job comparatively cheaper to foreign employers. Indian with fresh brain and art can do wonders for the film and it reduces the investment on the producers as the production managers can get technicians from India itself. They do not have to spend money on visa and flight tickets of foreign technicians. It thus solves the problem of unemployment in Indian graduates and engineers. It thus gives more opportunity for educated and talented youngsters of India. The hidden talents of India are yet to be known worldwide on silver screen through Hollywood and other foreign films. The ministry mostly promotes Kerala, Mumbai, Karnataka, Goa, Ladakh, Varanasi, Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Kolkata as they are the best places for film making. Andra Pradesh with Ramoji film city can contribute a lot for alien film makers. The natural beauty of nature will shortly be found on cinemas without putting up sets for greenery or wild life. Thus, world movie looks forward natural beauty of films with originality.
