Agent Vinod – Bollywoods Super spy!
Agent Vinod is associate degree approaching Spy-Thriller film, star Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor. The movie, written and directed by Sriram Raghavan is predicted to try to to wonders within the box workplace. The movie is produced by Saif himself along with Dinesh Vijan and the music has been composed by Pritam. Produced at a cost of Rs 60 crores, the film was completed in 19 months. It will be released in 3,500 screens. The movie was shot in 12 countries including Latvia, Riga, Uzbekistan, Morocco, Russia, UK and India. The movie is scheduled to release on March 23, 2012. The buzz surrounding Agent Vinod was quite low until now, but with only a few weeks before its release, the makers have begun promoting it in a big way. The song I’ll do the Talking is ruling the charts, and the recently released ‘Mujra’ song by Kareena Kapoor has also created waves.
Saif said he had gone to Vietnam for a couple of weeks to undergo training in action for the film. He also added that he has done all the stunts himself and he was all praise for the crew and the co-actors in the movie especially Kareena. He said she was a phenomenal actor and she is the perfect person to play the role. Director Sriram Raghavan told that the movie is based on an original story, about a spy. He also made it clear that it is also not the remake or copycat of the Hollywood series of James Bond and that 2012 Agent Vinod is not the remake of the 1977 Hindi film Agent Vinod. The film is full of action along with lots of thrills.
As part of the marketing and promotions, the makers have tied up with the McDonald’s to launch an exclusive comic book, and Saif also plans to launch a Playstation 3 game based on the movie.
