PM Modi celebrates 68th birthday with college students in Varanasi


Prime Minister Narendra Modi can celebrate his 68th birthday these days in his parliamentary body Varanasi wherever he can move with college kids.

Modi can reach Narur village this afternoon wherever he can move with kids of a grade school motor-assisted by a non-profit organisation - area to scan.

Later, at the railway locomotive Works (DLW) field, the prime minister can move with students of the Kashi Vidyapeeth and also the kids power-assisted by them, per the Prime Minister's workplace.

Recently in an interview too she made a dig at Shiney stating that she would never call him her friend or invite him for dinner.
 But now news is trickling out that even Eesha Koppikar, who also stars in Har Pall, had taken an aversion to Shiney Ahuja.A unit member narrated, “A cold war of sorts was already happening between Shiney Ahuja and Preity Zinta and then Eesha too joined the ‘I hate Shiney’ bandwagon. 
Shiney and Eesha would often be seen arguing with each other on the sets. They even resorted to taunting each other in front of the unit members. One day Eesha came on sets after a gap of few weeks. But as soon as she entered, Shiney went up to her and taunted at her saying she has grown very fat in these last few weeks and immediately started laughing.
Not the one to take down such an insult lying down, Eesha hit back at Shiney by telling him that he has turned more uglier than before! Hearing this all those standing around started laughing and Shiney had to literally hide his face at the unexpected hit back by Eesha.

Kajol and Ajay Devgan are looking forward to celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary on February 24. On Saturday, Kajol left Mumbai with daughter Nysa to join Ajay, who’s shooting for Prakash Jha’s Rajniti in Bhopal.
A source close to Devgans said, “Ajay has been in Bhopal since February 15. Given the film’s tight schedule, he cannot come down to Mumbai for his wedding anniversary. 
Also, Kajol, who’s back from the Los Angeles schedule of Karan Johar’s My Name is Khan, has been missing Ajay since the last few days. So, she decided to make the most of the opportunity and spend quality time with hubby dear.”

Nysa, Kajol and Ajay’s fiveyear-old daughter, is also in Bhopal with the couple. Our source added, “Ajay too has been longing to meet his daughter, whom he hasn’t seen in a while (as she was with her mother in Los Angeles). So the time seemed perfect for a family reunion. After the celebrations on February 24, Kajol and Nysa will return to Mumbai the very next day.”

My life revolves around my kid and I laid down my conditions that I would the film only within the city limits and that I would not work for long hours. Suneil Shetty agreed to my terms and conditions and that’s how I landed up with this role, ” says Malaika. 
When asked about taking EMI in real life Malaika says, “Who does not need a loan. However, yes I would not take a loan to lead a luxurious life. My character Nancy in the film is a today’s girl who starts taking loans to lead a high life, ” she informs.

The actress has been busy doing dance numbers, hosting shows and facing the camera for commercials says she was a bundle of nerves when she gave her first shot. “But it went off well. I have been juggling my role as a mother, as an actress and as a hostess. Life is all about juggling roles especially for a woman like an EMI” she says and laughs

Mallika’s erotic thriller Forbidden

Mallika Sherawat was planning to seduce audiences again but it was not to be. A movie that was supposed to have her as a seductress has been shelved even before it could roll.

 These days, Mallika has been covered up in some of her films but was supposed to be back to where she belonged with an erotic thriller by producer Ratan Jain. Titled Forbidden, it was supposed to be directed by a newcomer named Manish Gupta.

Mallika was supposed to play a debauched woman who seduces her stepson. Tusshar Kapoor and many others were considered for the role and Aditya Seal, who debuted opposite Manisha Koirala in Ek Chhoti Si Love Story, was finalized.

 But due to differences between the producer and the director, the project couldn’t take off.Manish Gupta has moved on to another project titled Stoneman Murders and put Forbidden on the backseat.

This prompted the film’s producer to shelve the project altogether.Well, the fans of Mallika must have been sad not to see her in yet another overtly feisty and sexy role!

Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik has denied reports of his making secret trips across the border to keep alive his affair with former Miss India and Bollywood actress Sayali Bhagat. Shoaib however admitted that Sayali was a “close and dear friend” whom he met at a promotional event during the inaugural season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) earlier this year.
 “Sayali is a close and dear friend and that’s about it,” Media reports from across the border linked Malik with Sayali, the Bollywood beauty who made her film debut by starring opposite Emraan Hashmi in The Train.Malik has been frequently travelling to India this year and in fact has been spending most of his off season there. 
When asked whether his relationship was the reason behind the trips, Malik said: “I’ve a contract with Reebok in India and have to go there once in a while for promotional activities.My friendship with Sayali has nothing to do with it.

“While Malik tried to play down his affair with the former Miss India, Pakistani media has been flashing reports on their romance.But Malik said that he was more focused on his team’s next international assignment, the proposed three-nation tournament in South Africa involving Sri Lanka and the hosts next month.
“The postponement of the Champions Trophy was a big blow for us. Rakeysh was in for a surprise when a normally shy and reticent Sonam refused to wear an outfit that he and the producers had arranged for her.
Our source said,”Sonam did not like the fit and the finish of the particular outfit, which was given to her. So, she told Rakeyesh that she wanted to wear something else instead.”
Rakeysh had no time to organise a new outfit for Sonam. Thankfully, Sonam solved the problem herself. She told Rakeysh that her naani (maternal grandmother in Delhi) had worn a similar outfit at the time of her wedding and if she could wear that outfit. Naturally, Rakeysh was skeptical as he wondered if the outfit was still intact and usable. He agreed to let Sonam wear the outfit after she assured him that it was in good condition.
Sonam’s grandmother was only too happy to lend her the outfit. Our source added, “Fortunately, the dress fit Sonam so perfectly that it didn’t require any alterations and it didn’t look too outdated either.”
Although Rakeysh heaved a sigh of relief, certain shots had to be canned again. It did upset the schedule a bit but they finally got what they wanted.

After Ajay, Aamir now Sush gets into direction

Joining the league of film stars on the small screen, actress Sushmita Sen recently made her debut with the reality show Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena.
By roping in popular cricketers to shake a leg for the first time on a reality dance show, Ek Khiladi Ek Haseena has managed to create the right buzz. But Sushmita’s looks has drawn criticism, all that weight the actress has added to her tall frame hasn’t gone down well with her fans, and of course the media.
“I love these weighty issues. I think they are lovely. One of the concerns that I have often had are about people and not necessarily people in general but specifically people in media. It’s the fact that when you run out of story ideas you look for weighty issues to talk about and that’s not a problem as long as it doesn’t blow up too much in poeple’s faces and takes away from the work that I am doing which is whether TV or film. You talk about what you want, I will be very happy bystander,” Sushmita said.
The actress will soon be turning director with her ambitious dream project, a film on the life of Rani Laxmibai. And she says she has a very strong reason for going behind the camera.
“I have lived with this film for a year-and-a-half. For me to get anybody else to direct this film would mean conflict of interests on the sets because we would be constantly fighting about which visions to fulfill and that’s why I am doing it,” Sushmita said.
Sushmita also plans to essay the title role of Rani Laxmibai in the film and is currently immersed in the pre-production.
“The film will be made soon. But right now my primary concern is quite few of them. It is a huge canvas. It is a women-oriented film which is not necessarily one of the most saleable concept on commercial Indian films term. And it’s a very big film and I don’t want to compromise on it,” she said.
“Having said that, we have finished the screenplay, we are down to storyboarding and once the storyboarding is complete and my seven minutes presentation is ready for my international buyers, that’s when I close the chapter till I am ready with my wishlist, my technicians and the funding,” she added.
Sushmita’s directorial debut in and as Rani Laxmibai, well that’s one film we definitely wouldn’t want to miss.
